Sad to know what happened to the GameBoy inventor, Gunpei Yokoi, shortly after he also invented the Virtual Boy, Game Boy Pocket, and WonderSwan. He really did have some kind of crystal ball it seems, just one that didn't see the Virtual Boy's failure coming. But that's one for how many? Truly a great name in video games, and I actually liked Virtual Boy as a kid.

I wish freetetris.org had that famous Russian music. I'd play with sound if it did. 

Never owned a Genesis either, but oddly have no memory of SMB3 outside of that Wizard movie and playing it online more recently.

Like I said, I know, I'm aware of everything you said, I've been aware of it for a long time now. 

I just was not reading anything in Ben's description that would warrant backlash even from out culture, but now, reading "oral pleasure to certain food groups" after re-reading, I think I'm getting it. 

Yeah, my only expertise when I used to want them to do things differently was as a middle schooler who really wished they could have been cool again. I'm gonna go cry now. I'll be on my bed. No calls.

So far I'm definitely enjoying it; it's a murder mystery where you as the main character work your way backwards through a plot rife with goofy Japanese humor to figure out your identity and why your death occurred/who's behind it/what other characters had to do with it, etc.

It may get a bit repetitive to some, but you're allowed as many tries as you can after you've seen how a murder plays out to go back four minutes in time, possess objects, and utilize them with good timing to alter events so that you save other characters' lives, aiding in the continuation of your own mystery solving. 

I'm also playing Dawn of Sorrow, and I will get Hotel Dusk if I see it. 

I felt about the same; to be honest, I only rooted for Seahawks cause I like rain and a lot of their musical artists, so in a way it's fitting that the Half Time Show was the best part for me. I also liked the actual music. Don't always like Mars, but he kept it to his classic style songs I enjoy, and of course seeing an honest-to-God rock band at the Superbowl for the first time since The Who or The Rolling Stones, however briefly, was great. 

I know about the Puritanical U.S. response to sex in media, I've been saying since high school or earlier that it's a bit insane; I meant the way Ben described it, I wasn't really picking up on that much for Puritans to find offensive, but granted I did skim. 

You asked me to play multiplayer Steam games with you online and mentioned some were free before, so this seems like a good game that fits those categories.

I mostly go by what my parents know, and I'd wonder if they knew who RHCP is. Granted, 40s was a bit young, my parents are in their 60s. 

I know this all too well; I just couldn't find the exact, specific study that directly compared drunk and tired driving. It may have been in that link, but I was pretty tired when I typed that comment, so, y'know.
