So far my only problem with the game is navigating the weird maps. Also the dark/light world doesn't help things either. Not impossible, but my memory! OMG!

I've seen those lamp posts referred to as 'sonic bubbles', like from thos air bubbles in the Sonic water levels. Yup, that's about right!
I actually thought that the decision to throw you into the dark world so soon was a little questionable. Like, are you for real Metroid Prime 2 devs? OMG! You so crazy!
I've been playing for quite while and scanning everything but I still have like 1%. LOL!
Yes. I feel like the game drops you off in this maze like a rat and says, okay, go get the cheese now and I enjoy that about it. While the first prime game always gave you a hint about where to go, MP2 level layouts are more of a challenge to navigate. It all feels more alien and organic than the last game. Very interesting.
The game isn't unplayable. Most games that have a F2P system are playable. In fact they are designed to be very addictive. The problem comes with end game. I got up to like lvl 40, but I haven't been able to 'catch' and collect them all because stats or whatever. The daily pokemon are hard to catch too. There is also an expert mode which is even harder. I got Mew in expert or whatever.
Actually, not everyone loved this game. It had its detractors and naysayors when it released. It's a pretty great acheivement to see a full 3D mario game on a handheld after Mario 64 on 3DS. It's pretty much a plate full of appetizers. That's the way I see it. Not a bad game, but it is what it is.
The problem with Pokemon Shuffle is when you get to the later stages you can't possibly beat challenges with your weak pokemon with a limited number of turns, and you certainly cannot capture them either because unless you buy super pokeballs from the store which only give you slight advantage. If you can't beat a challenge with 5 hearts you have to wait 30 mins or, like you say an entire day to keep playing. I played up to the 20th pokemon and unlocked some more challenging modes before I posted impressions. At first the game is fine when it draws you in giving you hearts and crystals for free, but later it gets pretty aggressive with asking for handouts and the game is unbalance, it is designed to keep you from playing on purpose.
I don't care that these games exist or that people enjoy them, I just don't want to see them on the 3DS.
Or chainsaw dude in RE4 and you're out of ammo!
