Well, you only had five minutes to read my blog before midnight, so I can see why people missed it so far. lol Thanks for the shout out once again!
My favorite super hero show, if it could count, would have to be Avatar The Last Airbender, which I only watched well after the movie came out, cause that's the only reason I knew it existed. Thank God it was so much better than the movie.
I've enjoyed what I've seen of 60s Batman for the goofiness.
I actually still like 90s Spider-Man, including the CGI, from what I watched somewhat recently on Netflix. I will say Spidey's internal monologue is way too heavily featured, but I otherwise still really like the story, characters, animation and action. Never seen 60s Spidey, just know the opening theme from having the Spider-Man movie OST ... which I can't find. Aerosmith covered that theme on there, too.
I never really watched Freakazoid much, but I loved Animaniacs.
I'm about where you are on Tick, I liked it and the video game, but don't remember much about it; same with Earthworm Jim's cartoon and game.
My brother was into the 90s X-Men more than I was (I found it a bit too much like a soap opera and therefore a bit dull as a kid), but I have seen some of the newer cartoon, and it seems good.
I have The Arrow in my Netflix cue ... I'm actually very glad it's not a Batman show, cause I'm honestly a bit tired of Batman saturating pop culture so heavily. Don't get me wrong, I love Batman, but I'm glad a lesser known character got a good show.
I'm actually more bothered by the CGI in Prime than I am by the 90s Spidey CGI, which I actually kinda like. I don't know why, but it's true.
I've heard lots of good things about Brave and the Bold, I'll have to check it out. As for Batman Beyond, I watched a few episodes on Saturday mornings when it first ran. I liked it, but didn't think it was spectacular. My friend Austin watches it all the time on Netflix, though.
As for TAS, I really loved the darkness of it and the second Burton film as a kid. I loved reading Edgar Allen Poe as well. I just was drawn to dark or eerie seeming things for some reason. On a related note, I really liked Eerie Indiana and Goosebumps.
