I think I was looking to downloadable games a bit more this year with games like Puzzle Quest and Carcassonne on XBLA and Pain and PixelJunk Monsters on PSN (technically '08). I don't think I was aware of an Indie scene yet though.

I played the arcade version of KiKiKaiKai on Taito Legends 2 collection. Neat game! i just put Pocky & Rocky 1 and 2 on my list. Too bad they're only on SNES. Might be hard to find now.
I love those graphics! I'm going to have to play this this weekend.
Well, that DQ XI for sure, but initially I wanted one for Killzone Shadowfall. I even bought the game this year in anticipation of my console purchase. A new Ratchet & Clank game would entice me. The updated Earth Defence Force 4.1 makes me want one, but that game is best in co-op and my co-op buddy doesn't have the funds for a PS4. I'd have to get two, but believe me, I'm considering it. Bloodborne is a must have when I get one. I'm still an Xbox fan, so it would have to be somthing exclusive to PS4.
The shooting is much improved from previous GTA games, but it's still a slight pain.
They were 5 points down and got a turnover in enemy territory. That should have been the go ahead touchdown, but they failed to get in. Good teams make things happen when they have to.
I know Castlevania is going to frustrate me, but I'm ready for it. I'm going to push for tolerance.
The controls in LM aren't as frustrating after a while. They tell you to use the c-stick in battles, but you don't really have to. Just move in the opposite direction to the ghost you're attached to with the left analog stick and it's much less thumb straining.
Honestly, Aliens Colonial Marines isn't very good. There's something just not quite right about the aiming in the game. I kept thinking, how could this feel wrong when it's by Gearbox who made Borderlands. Bodycount feels much better in the shooting department. It's just the bullet sponge enemies I don't like.
The games I get on release day are very few and far between now. I'm hoping that will change soon.
It would probably be great on 3DS too. I'll always go big screen if I can get it though.
