StayFocused/Arkham Woes and Triumphs

Posted on 07/25/2015 at 06:20 PM | Filed Under Blogs

I need to get back to running. Between asthma issues (heat and humidity plus stress) and the vertigo thing that my allergies have morphed into, I stopped a bit ago. My work schedule also makes things difficult  (close, close, open, close, open) to have any sort of consistancy with my running schedule. Whatever, I'm looking forward to winter.

An interview with myself.

But it takes up SPACE! I live in a 20' x 20' cottage!

I think that's something I can live without.

Benny and Joon is one of my favorite comedies, which says a lot, because I'm not normally into comedies. And I can't believe you've never seen Nightmare Before Christmas! Pay attention, the entire dialogue is a massive poem. I think The Wrong Trousers is actually the second Wallace and Gromit movie, though. The first one, I believe, is A Grand Day Out.

All my nieces got 2003 Women's World Cup merchandise for Christmas that year, lol.

Jason is a big Seamus Heaney fan. Me, not so much. Although I did recommend his translation of Beowulf to Snee yesterday (I prefer the Donaldson translation myself). Love William Gibson. Cyberpunk was big when I was in high school and I read a lot of it in Isaac Asimov's Science Fiction magazine.

Finished Up The Witcher III: Wild Hunt

Congrats. I have nothing meaningful to add to the conversation, just wanted to stop in and say hi.

I played Shining Force on the Genesis. It was a rental, and for what I paid in late fees, I probably could have bought the game. I have the GBA port, and I also have it on Sonic's UGC.

Wild Arms

I love that game! I have a physical copy for my PS1. I also have Wild Arms 2 as a PSOne classic on my PS3. I got stuck in this one spot where you have to run fast and light up four spots on the floor, and I just can't do it. I rage quit last summer and haven't been back since.
