BaD Day, BaD Weather, Now I'm MaD + Oscars & Stuff

I was prepared to say she had it coming, cause I thought you meant insult comic Lisa Lampenelli, but yeah that is kinda fucked up.

I forgot you were in a state with Whataburgers. I forget that other people live in the south and near them, because if I'm talking about fast food quality, it's usually with Chris and he's in Cali. lol

I like your first sentence, but the second is blasphemy. Tongue Out

Miyazaki already won for Best Animated Picture a few years back for Spirited Away, so I'm not surprised the Academy gave it to the film that just broke $1 billion worldwide and was made by an American studio/Disney. I'll probably like The Wind Rises better as well, but it's not a shock it didn't win.

It is. Whataburger's food actually looks like it does in their ads. Here's what that Chophouse Cheddar Burger looks like in the ad:

Ok, so my fries were a bit more flimsy, but they were also fresh and delicious.

I know about the Genesis games on Steam, but considering http://ssega.com has them for free and at least on my end, legally, since there's no download involved, I see no point in paying for something I'd experience roughly the same way anyway. Of course, $29.99 is a damn good price for partial controller support and every Sonic game I can think of wanting to play, so I may reconsider.

As for Sonic CD, it might just be the fact I've beat it God only knows how many times without any effort ... actually, that's pretty much the most relevant factor in determining its being easy and short, so yeah it's objectively easy and short for me at least, based on the number of times I've completed it within like 30 minutes. lol At least the Android version is anyway. Maybe they dwarfed the difficulty from the original, it's always possible.

I mean the girl on the cover puts my body to shame, yeah, but estrogen is my buddy!

I ramble a lot more than you do, so I wouldn't worry. lol

I think I'll ask my family to go to the Angelika to see The Wind Rises over Spring Break. Hopefully, it's still playing. The conflict between art and necessity is a very interesting theme to me, especially recently in my own life.

As daftman mentioned to me when I brought up that there should be some kind of gaming vault to house all the old games as works of art, the Internet is pretty much it, so really you'll probably be able to play that DLC through emulation at some point. I'd agree that it's not really that important though, you still have the core game.

Super Mario RPG was one of the first JRPGs that made me envy people who can enjoy turn-based combat systems, etc. It looked amazing in its time. It still holds up in the looks department.

Speaking of Ace Ventura, watching Ellen and Jim Carey on the Oscars today was like a mini trip into the 90s.

Well, we disagree on Cinderella Man obviously, but Rush is a great film as well. Don't know that it would skyrocket to my top 5 like Don Jon did just now, but it's damn great.

Uh,that Y's game made by the UK!

I'm glad someone got it! I snuck a few 90s references into my Profile on here and my blog on Friday as well. Laughing

My PS3 Digital Collection

Posted on 03/03/2014 at 01:15 AM | Filed Under Blogs

Looks like we have a bit more in common when it comes to digital buys. I have Madness Returns on Steam. How is it? I've yet to play it.

I've never heard of Castlevania Chronicles, but I'd love to play it and Bully

I've always wanted to try the Harvest Moon, Persona, and especially Fatal Frame series.

Puzzle Quest sounds intriguing as well.

FF Tactics would probably not be my thing and the rest of these I know nothing about, but it's nowhere near the "what is all this?!" reaction I had to your previous blog. lol

It got cold again here, too. Fucking bipolar Texas weather.

Kid Icarus: Uprising looked cool, even though I didn't really like what I played of the NES original on http://nintendo8.com all that much.

Looks like a shitty day to be a human between Nicelob1989, myself, you and especially Pacario. Hope things get better for everyone.

I'd love to hear about your day.

Sorry you had a bad day, but it's very true that it's always darkest before the dawn, or so I found last semester. It seemed to be that if I just let myself be taken over by how much everything sucked, it felt really good afterwards instead of suppressing my emotions or trying to, like ripping off a band-aid quick as opposed to slowly. I'm not a psychiatrist or psychologist, so mileage may vary.

I was late waking up again today, myself. Hope we can both turn things around.
