I just got done reviewing a game called Arcana Heart 3: LOVE MAX!!!!!  It’s a 2-D fighter featuring a cast of anime-styled female characters.  A lot of times when I play a new fighting game, I like to write a blog about the characters in that game.  At first I wasn’t going to do that with this one, but once I played it, I discovered that there a quite a few neat characters in it, and I thought it would be fun to write a little blog about them after all.  Keep in mind that I may miss secret characters and leave out details here and there.  But I’m just writing this as a fun, filler blog so you’re just going to have to deal with my nonsense.  So let’s take a look at the characters in this silly fighter.

Hey folks, are you ready for another batch of game reviews to read?  Well you’d better get used to it; because with Christmas coming up, I’ll be doing lots more game reviews for a while.  Anyway, I hope you do get a chance to click on the links and read my reviews and maybe even post a comment or two.  I’d appreciate it.  I know there are a bit more iPad games in this batch, but keep in mind that I was on vacation to Disney World in between posting these reviews.  But I promise my next batch will have more console stuff.  One tough thing about reviewing games this time of year is that it’s harder to play the games I want, like Hyrule Warriors and Smash Bros., because I have to review other things.  But I’m not complaining.  People who get to write game reviews semi-professionally like this have NO RIGHT to complain!  So anyway, let’s get on to the reviews!

Hey folks.  About a week or so ago, I went on vacation to Disney World with my dad’s side of the family.  I took a lot of pictures and wrote about what I did at GamerDad.com (mainly because it’s just easier to post pictures there).  But here are links to those articles if you’d like to read them and see the pictures I took!

Well, Hyrule Warriors has been released, and it’s a mix up of two different game series.  It combines The Legend of Zelda’s characters and settings with Dynasty Warriors’ action and gameplay.  So that got me to thinking: what other games would make good Dynasty Warriors crossovers?  Here are my top five picks.

Recently I ordered a birthday present for a close relative online, but it wasn’t enough to get free shipping.  So I ordered Tekken Tag Tournament 2 for Wii U to go along with it.  I’m not a big fan of Tekken games, but I’ve been known to buy a couple of them if they have a few modes and features I like, and if the price is low enough.  For instance, I got Tekken 4 when it was cheap, simply because hidden in the game was an old Namco arcade 3-D space shooter called StarBlade.  The Wii U edition of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 had some Nintendo-centric modes and features I was curious about trying, but not curious enough to pay full price for.  But I found it cheap enough now online, and I’ve been playing it off and on.  So in honor of that, here is a blog about my top ten favorite Tekken fighters!

Summer’s winding down, so you know what that means.  It’s time to write a blog about the movies I saw this past summer.  There may be some slight spoiler warnings here and there, but I’ll try not to reveal anything major, just to let you know.  OK, let’s begin!
