Nintendo just released some new Mario Kart 8 tracks, and it made me think about other fun Nintendo themed DLC and bonuses in games.  So I wrote a blog about it.  Enjoy!

Hey folks, I’ve got some good news and some bad news.  First the bad news.  My request for getting a press pass into E3 this year got rejected.  That’s the third year in a row.  I probably won’t even try next year.  Three strikes and you’re out.  But I’m not going to complain about it.  Well, I might complain about it a little later on, but not right now.  You know, when something goes on that I don’t like, I try not to complain about it too much, but instead I try and DO something about it.  You know, like instead of griping about game award shows, I just make my own in a blog.  Which brings me to my good news.  I’ve decided to have my OWN convention.  It’ll be called CaryCon, and it’ll be held at The Colony Convention Center at the end of next month during the weekend of April 31^st.  Read on for full details and how YOU can get in for free!

Recently I reviewed a one-on-one 2-D fighting game called Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late. That’s a really long name!  When I first started playing it, I thought the characters weren’t that interesting, because they all looked like typical anime stereotypes.  But as I kept playing, some of the characters ended up being a little more interesting than I thought.  And since I sometimes like to write about fighting game characters in blogs, I’ll do just that with this game right now.  Plus I don’t have any other blog ideas anyway.

Sorry I didn’t participate in BaD this year.  With game reviews to write over at GamerDad.com, plus my regular job, one extra blog here a week is all I have time for.  But as we wrap up the BaD month, I wanted to go out with a bang with this blog.  So I hope you read and enjoy it!  It’s the 20^th Anniversary of the original PlayStation!  Well, technically 2014 was, since it was released in Japan in 1994.  BUT, I’m counting the US release, which was 20 year ago.  So in honor of that, here is a list of my favorite original PlayStation games!  Keep in mind that list this isn’t in any particular order, though.  All right, let’s begin!

A new Kirby game is being released this week: Kirby and the Rainbow Curse.  I’m always excited when a new Kirby game comes out.  I like Kirby games better than Mario titles!  And usually when a new Kirby game comes out, I like to write a blog about Kirby.  So this time I’m going to write about my LEAST favorite Kirby games.  Why so negative?  Well, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse is actually a sequel to Kirby Canvas Curse, one of the games on this list.  But don’t worry.  None of the games on my list are BAD games.  There’s no such thing as a bad Kirby game.  I just like these games less than others.  And this list isn’t in any particular order either.  So let’s roll!
