I discovered what I did wrong in Wolfrenstein Younblood, but I had put the game away already. So I jumped into We Happy Few on Game Pass. Then I got annoyed and switched to Apex Legends but got kicked out for network problems. Finally i tried Battle Chasers: Nightwar and got hooked. 

Both Mark and I were playing the game solo today. We were pleased for a while but ultimately got very frustrated and stopped playing. Following are some reasons. 

I was playing Monopoly Plus on Xbox a few weeks ago and something struck me as I watched the backgrounds of the 3D enhanced board you can play. There is a really cool model city with moving trains, cars, a waterfront on one side with boats, an amusement park and skyscrapers in the middle. I thought, this would be a great model railroad setup to make in real life. Take a look at about the 1 minute mark. . 

I forgot to mention that I upgraded to Ultimate. It actually saved me some money because I get the first month (or was it 3) for a dollar. Ultimately (he he) it's the same price I was paying for Gold and Game Pass together, $15. Now I have access to PC stuff. I wonder if I'll get back into PC gaming and if anything will work at all on my Win 7 laptop. 

I made some progress on Pre-Sequel today. I'm playing just for story. I want to finish the game and DLC before B3 comes out. Then I dowloaded some new stuff and tried Old Man's Journey from Game Pass. Interesting and beautiful game. More below. 

I got stuck in two puzzle games today, Inside (again) and Book of Unwritten Tales 2. I always hope for great things from adventure games but usually they drive me a little crazy. The problems I come across in these games occupy my mind later on. I think I figured out what I need in Book of Unwritten Tales 2 but I'm still clueless in a problem with Inside. What to do.

I've been jumping around alot between different games lately, kinda going by instinct. I played Inside, got stuck, thought about it, returned and then got stuck again. I played Dead Rising 4 because I heard it didn't have time limits like the previous games. So far that's true and I'm loving just wacking my way through zombies and constructing new weapons as I go. But then Torchlight showed up this month as a Games with Gold freebie. I've been wanting to play this for years. So I jumped right in, and so did my friend Mark. I'm diggin' it. I finally had enough grinding for achievements in Borderlands 2, Xbox 360 version. So much so, that I wiped my whole hard drive of installed games and started over. I'm from here on out not going after achievements or trophies. I really don't have the time, and, after a lot of grinding, reduces my enjoyment of gaming. So today I played a lot of other stuff. 

Yes, I'm now playing the unenhanced 360 version of B2 on my XBO after beating the Handoms Collection version to 100%. Why? Because I left about 10 achievements unfinished from way back in 2014, when I last played it. My progress has been slow because these achievements are labor intensive. I've been having fun with it and also having serious frustrations and fatigue.
