The Grand Gears series gets a Disney DLC pack where you can farm with Disney characters. Make them happy and they'll join your party with special magical powers in battle. Or, it's just the following four games I played earlier today. 

2001 seems like a great year to me from a media perspective but it was kind of hell for me. I left my job that summer and started a new one (no better than the old one) where I began working late night again. 911 happened. I woke up just in time to watch part of it happen live; one of those "never forget" moments. Then rent went up, and I moved to a new place. After all that, things picked up because Adult Swim started on Comedy Central, members of The State comedy troop made a movie, and a game appeared that would define the next decade for me, Halo. 

It could be another solitaire variant but it's actually the collective title of the four games I played today. 

2000 was the year I started playing some live shows with my band in Philly and several other states. I had to upgrade all my gear for this and it cost me a pretty penny. I did some music on my own as well with a four track and a drum machine. It was music all the time that year, except when I saw, played or read the following.  

Renomus spent long years casting spells and doing magic for questing parties. He made a lot of dough, and wanted a rest. So he bought himself a small farm and sold corn and apples out on the highway. With his magic, he may have influenced a few deals, but by and large he was an honest farmer, and satisfied. Then one day a forest gnome brought him a curious message. . .

It keeps you from getting lost when traveling the digital plane. Today I came across three regional aberations that call themselves games. They are, of course, live alogrithms who need a creative input to expand their functionality - to grow, in other words. I played three of them. I wonder how the results changed the cosmic data stream?

In Microsoft Haven there be dragons, and it's like the village in How To Train Your Dragon. Tech and dragons. Mecha dragons? I'm liking this idea. 

Exactly how it is. I'm in my game alone but my friend is in the same room playing it too on his own system. It's the strange little way we game - evolved over decades to be what it is. My friend is trying to keep ahead of me for bragging rights in Farm Together. I'm just doing my thing, trying to make it look good.

I was browsing at a mall I'd never been to before and saw a Hallmark store. I went in on a lark to see their Christmas ornaments because they have some neat retro ones, and I've been collecting their arcade cabinet ornaments. I have four of them. Now I have five. This is the Joust cabinet.
