...and I'm thinking about the first decade of the 2000s, 2000-2009. Here's a list of games I want to focus on this month when I'm not chasing rewards points or some new release. 

This is a retro game store I found today in Glenside, PA while trading in old games. The town just borders northwest Philadelphia. 

Well, my new job fell through and now I'm up a creek without a paddle. Nothing new here really. So during these times between jobs, I find myself drawn to simple games. I somehow can't get into a long story or deep gameplay at times like this. So here are the few things I played on Thanksgiving day and Sunday.

Ended the day today packing up my Xbox One and taking it home from my friend's place. Not sure when I'll have time to go over there with my new job, but maybe I'll get one day a week of gaming in. We'll see. I think I might suspend Xbox Live for a while too and play more retro stuff on retro consoles. Chasing rewards points takes up too much time, and if I don't have much time, I'd like to play exactly what I want. No plans on what I'm going to play next because I don't even know my work schedule yet. I'd like to play Dragon Quest IV. Anyway, here's what I played today, my last day of Xbox One for a while. 

Is it modes or moods, I'm not sure, but I had two modes I was in today. One was the mode of chasing after rewards points, the other was playing any old-school-looking turn-based RPG I could find on Xbox's Game Pass. 

I have a new job starting in a week and I may be working weekends, so I don't know when I'll be gaming after this weekend. Maybe not at all, but probably sometime. Today I mainly played Forza Horizon 5 and Dicey Dungeons but a few others passed by. 

This is a list of the games I played the most in the 90s. There are plenty of ties and a shortlist of games I really want to play still. 

Something to think about. I made a list of the top-selling home video games of the 90s, one for each year. I tried not to repeat a franchise if possible. Some of the numbers are not exactly known, but I think this makes a good list of top-selling games of the 90s. 

Better than just, "Played" and a timestamp. I've always been a fan of the absurd and dada art procedures. Why should I make sense in a senseless world? RIght? Well, the rest of this is pretty sensible. Played these on 11-14-2021. Satisfied?

 Yet another half day of gaming this weekend.
