I'll answer myself. I was basically where I am now, mostly nowhere, but I did enjoy the odd piece of media entertainment. So let's take a look at that.

Sunday was spent with family. I watched my neice and nephew both playing Minecraft on various devices. My neice was building a haunted house for Halloween. My bro-in-law and I watched the football games: Eagles/Cowboys - dreck, New England/Seatle [cor. Green Bay/Seatle] - great game. I think I put in about five minutes into Etrian Odyssey Untold 2 when I got home. I'm just not finding the time for it yet.

The future had finally arrived: Internet was booming, even I bought a computer, cars were flying, and we had rocket shoes and teleporters. Replicators had replaced the need for making products resulting in a complete restructuring of society. No one had to work (except for those guys, like Homer Simpson, who had to watch for nuclear plant malfunctions. Boy, that probably sucked). We all just laughed and played all day long. But you could work in the game's industry if you wanted to entertain folks; creative work was still available, if you had the itch - totally voluntary though. And everthing was run by two computers, an IBM and an Apple. They were at war with each other though, but we watched their robot wars on the TV. So fun!

Yes it's year 2000 this week in my little game of revisiting the years. So what happened? Armageddon of course. Y2K fears became a reality and civilization as we know it collapsed. Mayhem ensued and only a few survived in special bunkers created by various governments of the world. Luckily, I was able to use my prodigious survival skills to discover the location of one and get in. Now I write these blogs across the sole remaining network that links to the other bunkers, but you all know that part.

As I thought, I finished up the last two achievements in Lost: Via Domus today in a couple hours. I won the challenge because Mark finished his about an hour later. Then I went back to Borderlands: The Presequel to attempt some other achievemetns.

It's a new game I made up this week. Take two people, give them each a game that has reportedly easy achievements, and see who finishes with 1000 points first. Today challenge was Lost: Via Domus.

This is an enhanced version of EDF 2025 with new levels, vehicles, giant mechs, and various tweaks and fixes to the gameplay mechanics, all running at 1080 P, 60 FPS for the PS4. First thing today I went to Gamestop and traded in Gat out of Hell and bought a second copy of Sacred 3 for my friend Mark. The saleswoman told me about Until Dawn and how the game figures out what isn't scaring you and then changes to try and scare you more. Games are getting smart. I gotta watch out for that. Then I had a breakfast bagel (egg and cheese on a rye bagel) and coffee on my way over to Mark's place for gaming.
