Say hello to another batch of Skylanders. I couldn't resist hitting one of the last Gamestops in my area I haven't been to yet this week. I think I have about 15 Gamestops in about a 15 mile radius of where I live. This one would be number 14, I have one left.

I played the Spider-Man playset in Disney Infinity 2.0 today. I didn't finish it, but I got pretty far. This playset is much like the Avengers one. There are interior areas and then there's the open world New York City. So it pretty much plays exactly the same as the Avengers playset. Still, it's fun. You have web slinging in this with the Venom and Spider-Man figures. I'm playing as Venom mostly with Nova and Nick Fury on the side to pick up bonus boxes Venom can't and do other Feats (small objectives) along the way. 

Today, I got just about everything I want that's playable in Disney 1.0 and 2.0, and a few from 3.0 before I actually get that game down the road, and some Skylanders, of course. From here on out it'll be just a single figure here and there from 3.0 (except for tomorrow because I forgot one 2.0 figure, Nova). Now I have to make up all the money I spent. Granted, I did get all this stuff on sale, but I still spent a pretty penny when you add it all up. It's alright, I guess. I got everything else this year for free from trade-ins. Time to save up again. Anyway, here's some pics of it all starting with the 1.0 characters. 

It's a like becoming a routine these days to hit a Gamestop somewhere in my area and see what they got in Toys-to-life. This below is the result of two stops, one yesterday and one today. I'm working mostly on the Disney Infinity 1.0 figures, but I pick up interesting ones, when I find them, for 2.0. Then I fill out the five figures I get on the sale with Skylanders I don't have. Here's the pict below:

I went on an enormous shopping spree for Disney Infinity and Skylanders figures yesterday. Gamestop still had it's buy-2-get-3-free sale and Toys R Us had a buy-1-get-2-free sale. Here is all the stuff in six pictures:

Today I hunted for the Venom figure for the Spider-Man playset within Disney Infinity 2.0. I found a new one at Walmart for $6, so I got that. Then I went to a Gamestop near me that had one used, and got one for Mark too. These Spider-Man playset characters are hard to find, so I thought I’d better get one for Mark in case I have trouble finding more. I mean, I’ll go to Amazon if I really have to, but I like finding them in the wild. It’s more fun that way.

Also known as Marvel Super Heroes, D.I. 2.0 is a really fun game. I've played about twelve hours of it this weekend. I finished the Avengers Play Set story mission and then went about exploring Toy Box Mode for fun and achievements. 

I'm getting ahead of myself a little bit. This is my blog of events on Friday, even though I'm posting this early Sunday morning. So Friday I picked up Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright at Gamestop for no money because I traded in some games. I had trade-in money left over so, before I went to see the Deadpool film, I hit a different Gamestop and looked to see what Disney Infinity figures they had. Well they had the playset unlock figure I needed for the Guardians of the Galaxy playset in D.I. 2.0 and two figures, Rocket Racoon and Star Lord. So I got those and two more Skylanders (Zook and Boomer) to fill out the buy-2-get-3-free sale. See pic below:

Alright, so today I learned something new (and kind of annoying) about Disney Infinity and what you need to play two player online co-op in the story missions (called "playsets"). There are special figures that unlock the playsets.

So later on that day I got my first Disney Infinity figures on sale, I put together my list of Skylanders I'd like to have. Then I couldn't resist going to Gamestop again right before work and getting a bunch of Skylanders. While I was doing that, I saw a Disney Infinity figure I hadn't seen earlier and had to have that. I got seven figures for $20. That's a nice price. Here's the picture:
