Mostly too down to really say much but I'll say this, I do like a bit of permadeath when playing Minecraft. Set the game to not regen health, hard difficulty, survival mode and don't allow yourself a respawn. The game lasts, for me, around 25 minutes to an hour before something terrible happens and I die.

Trying to ease my mind again today as I wait for a call to work. It was play-food and tv-games on the XBO. The play-food was a chicken parm grinder, fries, and a diet Dr. Pepper. And the XBO tv-games were Defense Grid 2 and Minecraft, just like yesterday. 

Well, this was the last Monday that I'll treat as a Sunday. I'm going back to a Mon-Fri schedule next week to research jobs. Good thing is, I'll have a normal Sat-Sun weekend for a while. So what did I do to try and relax after a very crazy week? First, I almost got into a car accident. A little carelessness can go a long way towards ruining your day. Luckily, it was just a slight bump with no damage. Second, I played Defense Grid 2 and Minecraft with Mark - again. 

Troubling times for me this week, so I kept it simple with Minecraft and Defense Grid 2. 

More Skylanders Superchargers today. 

Lots of stress for me this week with a change in management at my work. The unknown, waiting for the new boss to show, is worse than anything. I think I went through several levels of depression and anxiety this week and it's not over yet, not until Tuesday and I go back to work and see what's what. So I've been having trouble completely enjoying the games I've been playing, but I played them nonetheless: a short session on Saturday playing Peggle and Defense Grid 2, and then a whole day of it on Sunday with Skylanders Superchargers. Breakdown ensues (although not my mental breakdown. That's incomplete and hopfully stays that way). 

Gamestop's having their 3-for-2 sale on Wii games this week, so I bought a bunch. Here's a pic:

I know I said I wouldn't do it, but I did anyway. I thought about how some rpgs on Nintendo systems tend to go scarce out here in the wild soon after release, so I thought I'd better lock this one up.

Monday was a day of e-sport, a day of whimsy. Lots of time spent in front of a TV with a controller in hand. It's what we do, we gamers. Halo, Peggle, Skylanders. It's genres all over the place, but that's how I like it. On to the details. 

On Friday and Saturday I finished up with The Order 1886 and Crystal Defenders. Next on my backlog list was Halo: C.E. so Mark and I played it within The Master Chief Collection on XBO part of Saturday and all day Sunday. Here's a breakdown.
