I bought Lego Indiana Jones today. It became backwards compatible for XBO earlier this year. I'd played it before, but didn't complete it. I looked up the achievements and it looks like I played through the main story and that was it. I didn't go for all the collectibles. Well, I will now. But, I just installed the game and played some other stuff today. 

I was a mess today, that's for sure. Very stressed out, nearly quit my job, couldn't get myself to do schoolwork. So what did I do? Go to my friend's place and play some games until I could see straight again. As usual in these circumstances, I jump around from game to game and end up playing something barely interactive. For me that's tower defense. But here's the breakdown of it all. 

The final category for my Trap Team figures. Next will be the variants and elite figures I have and then on to SuperChargers. 

Today I nearly finished Battlefield Bad Company, mulled about in Minecraft for a bit, tried the Screamride demo and got into Puzzle Quest. I think I want to play some RPGs next time. 

I played a world in Minecraft today acting as a caveman. I used nothing but a bone to defend myself and chop for resources. It's basically as good as a wooden axe, so why make a wooden axe? Ugg, my character, doesn't know how to make an axe anyway.

I played a level in Hey! Pikmin today while waiting for a pizza. The game is beautiful. As I fly around the levels with my flying pikmin carrying me, I keep thinking of old arcade games as I send some out to kill an enemy or pick up a sparklium. I think it's the verticality of some of the levels and the way the sparklium is arranged in patterns seeming floating in air. It's like an old school arcade shooter sometimes. 

I finally got screen shots and video I took on XBO to upload to OneDrive. From there I can embed them here; although, I've been having trouble with the video. I'm given a code from Onedrive that begins with the word iframe, but it doesn't show up when I use the video insert option above. I tried different settings and I get nothing. I really want to get that to work so I'll do more research to try and figure it out. It's possible there are some plugins needed that aren't supported here. I know if I try to select other than Flash I get a "plugin not supported" message. HTML5 and iframe selections give no results either. I'm stumped. Well, here are some screen shots at least. That's a great improvement.

I used the amped worlds option for a seed today. It makes the worlds even more realistic. You can't just roam over mountains willy nilly. They're too high. You have to find a route up or down. They make for excellent views too. That was my solo play for only a handful of minutes while Mark did other things. We he started up a map, I quit mine and joined his. Always much more fun with others, this game is. 

I finally found a good formula for playing Minecraft co-op. Mark has additional ideas, but for me it's perfect when we load an overworld in creative mode and make the enchantement table and a box of XP potions, then switch back to survival mode. This way you start at level 30 ready to enchant gear. Everything can be done faster, and you can get to the fun of gathering resources to make gear, build things and find The End Portal in some reasonable amount of time.
