So Stardew Valley was a game I had as like my 5th option because the other titles I wanted were low availability (Persona, Andromeda, Nier ... Yooka Laylee was in there too, releases tomorrow though) and that's the one that shipped today. Uuuuuggghh. Well, I guess I'll see how addictive it really is. I know people love this shit, it's just disappointing to me personally that I JUST realized I could rent Uncharted 4 and my dead last option in my Q is the one I have coming. 

I finally caved and got my free trial of GameFly games. In my queue are Mass Effect Andromeda, Yooka Laylee, and Persona 5, in that order. Both Andromeda and Persona 5 say "low availability" and Yooka Laylee releases on the 11th, so we'll see how this goes. 

First, I don't want anyone knowing how much I make, but I'm quite proud of my budget for March, which I just got done with a 50/30/20 Google Docs Worksheet. Not sure I trust Google with this information, but I am an American. I trust nefarious strangers in exchange for convenience. What are you gonna do? 

So a couple weeks back on Spring Break my family and I went to a video game-themed bar. Here are some pictures with no context. I'm busy. Look at the fun I had. LOOK AT IT.

Hadn't bought all the vehicles. Have lego marvel platinum. 45 hours of my life spent playing a children's game now feels less wasted.

Cocksucker mother fucker whore out your sister Rick Lego Marvel Superheroes won't let me get Platinum because of a glitch that have me 11/10 minikits in one level. 

The gaming top 5 is something I am doing for NWP, but since '98 is also the year I started buying CDs, I'm going to include some musical favorites as well. Maybe movies, since I was always a huge movie buff.

MvC Arcade ... maybe ... I mean I've played it since cause movie theaters exist, but I THINK I actually played it in '98. 

The trend of highly anticipated things releasing around my birthday receiving mixed reviews and performing below expectations continues this year as Mass Effect: Andromeda receives 7.7 from IGN and a 6 from GameSpot, and an overall score of 75% on Metacritic thus far. By no means is that bad, but when you release a game in the wake of Horizon: Zero Dawn and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, both of which have had massive commercial and critical success, it's not great either.
