that's kind of how I feel about the console Mario games since Mario 64. Galaxy and the new one is great, but they lack that exploration that I found so satisfying in 64.
I still don't know how I feel about SM3DL

Here is the thing. When I first started SM3DL I commented on how I did not know how I felt about the game. I finished off Bowser this morning and still am not sure how I feel about the game.
Technically speaking, I am "halfway" through the game. I rescued Peach, but after that happens you have to go through all the levels again to rescue Luigi. I only played one of these levels, but it looks as though they remixed aspects to make them more challenging. It is a great way to lengthen the amount of time that somebody would spend with a game. The only problem is that I do not want to burn out on Mario just yet. So I am setting the game down and will probably come back to it in the following months.
I did enjoy the game, and I think that it is a really good game. I just don't think that it is a really good Mario game. There just seems to be something missing. I cannot explain it.
I got the games that I had ordered over the weekend yesterday. Daftman pointed out the "box lottery" that is GameStop's online store. Well, I think that I did pretty good. Of the eight Wii games that I had ordered, only one was missing the original coverwrap. As far as instruction booklets are concerned, I did not fair quite as well. I did get three or four of them. The two DS games that I had ordered came as expected, just the cart and nothing else.
The list of games that I ordered are as follows... No More Heroes, No More Heroes 2, Tatsunoko VS Capcom, Okami, Medal of Honor Heroes 2, Dead Space Extraction, Godfather: Blackhand Edition, Wario Land: Shake It, Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, and Thor: God of Thunder.
I tested out Thor this morning and think that it will be a pretty good action platformer. I am having an slight issue with how slowly Thor moves, but it makes sense with the character. The big reason that I grabbed Thor was because it was developed by WayForward. I have really enjoyed their work so far. Aliens: Infestation is one of my favourite DS games.

For any manuals or boxes you don't have, you could try going to the local GS and getting them from the store.  GS doesn't care about the manuals.  If you see them, just ask can you have'em.  As for the boxes, they have to do work of replacing them with a fake box, so getting those are a tricky unless you know some one that works there and doesn't mind.
