I think that Picross Adventure game was done by the same folks who did the Story of Seasons and Rune Factory Picross games I reviewed.

Games Beaten
Piczle Cross Adventure (Switch)
This game has a silly story and multiple areas to walk around as you look for puzzles. The varied environments lead to a nice variety of puzzles but, honestly, when I'm playing Picross, I'd rather just play Picross. Give me a menu filled with puzzles and I'm happy with that. But this was fine. It had catchy music and the interface was perfectly serviceable. But adventure Picross would not be my first choice.
Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair (Switch)
Danganronpa 2 hews pretty close to the structure of the first game and that's fine. If it ain't broke, right? I was a little cold on the cast at first but they really grew on me and a few of them had great development. My main complaint remains the same as with the first game: I think the class trials to uncover the murderer are too gamified, but it's ultimately a small complaint. The story manages to tie into the first game in a way that really makes sense. I am very curious what will happen in the third game.
Games Bought
Since I had finished a Picross game, clearly I needed a new one, so I bought Picross: Lord of the Nazarick (Switch), which is themed around the anime Overlord. I've never seen Overlord but this game has more than usual of the clip puzzles, where all the puzzles make a larger picture, so I decided to go with that one (and it was on sale). Otherwise I picked up two PS+ games for PS5: Lies of P, which is supposed to be a pretty good Soulslike, and My Hero One's Justice 2. Maybe I'll get into that anime eventually and wanna play it.
Games Being Played
-Picross: Lord of the Nazarick (Switch)
The theming so far is very good, even for someone unfamiliar with the anime.
-Destiny 2 (PS5)
Still working on the campaign for the newest expansion.
-Monster Hunter Rise + Sunbreak (Switch)
Took down a gnarly floating dragon last time that made me think of an evil catfish.
(Note: I'll be out of town for the next two weeks or so and I have not been able to log in to Pixlbit from my phone, despite my best efforts. But I'll be back soon!)
