My Brother and Nephew's First YouTube Video!

My brother and nephew have just made their first “Let’s Play” style YouTube video, so I thought I’d share it with you here. They play an Xbox One game called Party Animals, where plush toy animals fight to the death. I’ve played it before with them, and while I don’t understand the appeal, my nephew just loves it! The First Adventure of Makemake and Jupiter

Since the name of their YouTube channel is called The Galactic Gaming Family, they give themselves space themed names. Just to keep them anonymous. Internet safety and all that. That’s where Makemake and Jupiter come in. If I were on the show, I wonder what space theme name I would have? I would pick Uranus, but then I’d be snickering like Beavis and Butthead the whole time. Maybe Saturn, since a game console has that same name. Or maybe I can do something fictional, like Namco’s Galaxian! What do you think? Let me know in the comments section! Later! --Cary

That submarine setting looks really cool. Not my kind of game though.

I think Galaxian sounds really great, like you were from Galaxia, whatever that is.

My nephew did not like the idea of me having a made up space name. He also didn't like it when I told him my favorite dinosaur was Yoshi. Kids today have no imagination. :)

Now that I have unearthed the laptop from the pile of junk on the table and put the pile of clothes in the chair back in the closet (my cat would get in the closet and yank everything off the hangers and he ripped up a couple of shirts, so I took everything out until he outgrew that phase), I will have to check this out.

Thanks. Just trying to help spread the news of their little YouTube channel. My nephew just loves to see those likes and views grow. Hopefully this will show him how hard you have to work to be a famous YouTube star (like all kids want to be nowadays), and why I don't do it. :)

I recognize which brother this is by his voice. I wondered if it would be your cohost for your podcast before I watched the video.

Yes it's the same brother who is in most of the podcasts. Sometimes I have oher brothers on it, but it's usually him. You see, last December he got married, and his wife has two kids, a young adult lady who doesn't live with her, and an 8 year old son she has joint custody with. So he has a stepson and I have another nephew.

You know at weddings how there's a wedding cake and a groom's cake? Well his groom's cake had Kirby on it. You don't think someone might've had an influence on him in his life, do you? :) I can send you a picture of the cake if you like probably on Facebook.

After the wedding, the nephew said about us, "Now that they're part of the family, they can all put in profiles on the Xbox!"
