While I dithered around in numerous games, my friend was playing Dishonored 2 exclusively and really enjoyed it.

Titanfall 2:

The rewards quest asked me to get some weird points I thought I could get in the campaign but I discovered later it was in multiplayer. So I played a healthy amount of the campaign before a particular battle got me frustrated enough to switch to multiplayer. In multiplayer I found the hoard/firefight mode and played that with four randos. This game is pretty fantastic - a great FPS and has great wall running/edge grabbing mechanics.

Lawn Mowing SImulator:

I played this for fun for a good long while. I expanded my operations, hired a second helper, and bought a new ride-on mower. I was strangely addicted to it until I had to mow this very large field. You have to watch your lawn mower's rpm meter or your engine will overwork and not cut right. This means you have to carefully adjust your speed as you mow patches of taller grass. This puts quite a strain on your trigger finger over time. When I got to that large field with my new mower and still had to watch my speed, I couldn't deal with it anymore.

Minecraft: I didn't play it, just booted it to check for new achievements with the new update. There are! Four more. I decided to wait until my friend was into playing co-op so we could help each other with the achievements.

Spryo: Year of the Dragon:

First on my list for 2000s retro games this month. I was really down for the exploration and gem gathering, but the skateboarding challenges drove me a little crazy. The camera in this game is a little bit wild in its movements which is really annoying. I have it on active, so it should adjust on the fly, but it doesn't seem to at all. Another thing that annoys me, the gliding. I've hit one too many edges just short of a goal at the end of my glide. Hitting the Y button at the end there to hover, which gives you a last-minute boost upwards, is awkward and sometimes doesn't activate if you hit it a nanosecond late. I really hate just missing a platform in any game. So I've put it down for now.

Doom Eternal: I rolled a random number to choose from the games I had installed and got Doom Eternal. However, there was a massive update, the Battle Mode, which is 70GB and won't download for a while. I moved on.

Puzzle Quest:

A second random roll gave me Puzzle Quest. I started a new wizard on normal difficulty. I have three achievements I never got: making a Godlike item, and the last two bosses in the game. This game is long and I don't think I have the patience to get all the way there, so I might just remove it from my hard drive next time I play. My friend beat the game twice because of a lost save file. He's got the patience of a (insert animal with a lot of patience here).

Well, tomorrow I'm going to try Silent Hill 2 in the HD collection. Maybe I can get through that one.
