Games, games, games. It's like my job right now. I get paid about 10 cents an hour via MS rewards points. Not exactly a living wage and no benefits, other than my pleasant state of mind.
Another Game Pass quest had me reinstall Forza Horizon 4. I was pleasently surprised to find a new business to buy and 9 missions to do for it. I did all those driving vans all over the map, then I stopped because I had gotten the quest. I've done just about everything in this game. I could get back into the weekly challenges again, which is fun, but I got other fish to dynamite.
I ran through some casual games on my harddrive, hoping to finish some and get them off there for mega downloads such as 80GB of NBA 2k20. No luck there but I had fun playing Gem Smashers, which is like Breakout but you control the ball in a limited way instead of a paddle. Also Gnomes Garden 3 and Gnomes Garden Lost King. The developer of these resource management games do others with different themes but they are basically the same. I don't mind. I love sending my workers around to repair roads and fix up bee hives.
Then I got back to Journey to the Savage Planet. I am stuck and need to level up to progress so I'm doing experiments (challenges). It's stuff like take samples of a list of creatures, or blow up creatures in certain ways. I'm stuck on the last one of the set where I have to get this flying creature to die and spray two other creatures with it's dying acid. I had to search around a lot for the perfect spot to do this and right at the end of my day, I found it. I failed on my first attempt but I'll get in there and try again. I need a jetpack boost upgrade badly. Or maybe I'm missing something else. This game sometimes hides its solutions to things. I love it though. It's the right ballance of exploration, scanning, combat and platforming. It's humor wins me over as well.
