Mark and I finished the Borderlands 3 DLC the other day. Then he gave me a new controller and the last of the four arcade replicas that Hallmark made. I made a quick vid of the festive Skylanders at the arcade. 

We finsihed the DLC. I barely paid much attention to the story even though I insisted on listening to every log and dialog moment. I'm finding the story in Borderlands not all that interesting. It's not enormously funny either. It tries hard, but it's often overdone. Only one comment in a side mission made me laugh. She says something like, "I can't beileve I used to think this stuff was important." refering to something I can't remember but it was likely pop culture stuff she was into at a younger age. It made me think, maybe in the future I'll say the same thing about all this - gaming, blogging, whatnot. Who knows. 

I got the last of four arcade replica Hallamrk keepsake ornaments from Mark yesterday. It's the Galaga one.

I also got a new controler. I'm glad of that because my old was was getting very loose in the sticks. Mark is going to experiment with fixing it. I'm eager to see how that turns out. 

I'm also glad of the new controller because this one has blue tooth built in, which means I can now use it with the new Xcloud service on my phone. It might end up that I carry my controller around with me all week, playing on console on the weekends and on my phone during the week.
