While I waited for EDF 2017 to install, and it took a long time because it got shifted down in the que without me knowing, and it just went slow, I played some more Minecraft. 

I collected about half the emeralds I needed in my one seed world to get the Forest Map. The process of collecting resources gets kind of tedious after a while, so I stopped and joined Mark in his seed world. I messed around as usual. This time I experimented with making concrete in different colors and then making things with them. I made magenta concrete and replaced building materials. Wacky fun. 

Then I put a dispenser by the door of the building we were using as a base and set it up to shoot eggs at us as we entered. It was just a funny thing. Those eggs knock you back a bit and sometimes they spawn a chick. It's just silly fun. 

Then I wanted to experiment with trains and built a short railway. I couldn't find enough gold to power it though, so that kind of failed. 

Finally I got bored enough to watch youtube instead, watching commercials for toys and games from 1978. And then I watched the new The Orville episode. This is a pretty good show. I like that it's funny but also pretty faithful to Next Generation. 

Well, if I play tomorrow it will be EDF 2017 which should be ready. I can't wait to blast some bugs for a while.
