N64 Trouble and Destiny

I tried my N64 on my newer TV over at Mark's place, and it wouldn't come up. The TV couldn't connect to it for some strange reason. I've connected my PS2 and Gamecube with the same type of RGB plug, and they worked. I don't get it. But my N64 does work on my older flat screen TV at home. That makes no sense. Well, what can I do but play on my other systems while I think of a solution.

Without being able to go retro, I played Destiny all day long. Mark and I did post end game missions and collected a lot of loot. I have almost all legendary equipment now, but I still haven't found a Relic rarity item yet. It's so random in this game. You pick up engrams and get them decoded, and it's like rolling the dice as to what you'll get, but it's still fun. I took some screen shots in the crude old fashioned way with a pocket camera. Here they are:

         destinyspace

I love these space shots. When you get a new ship, it appears on a screen appropriate to your location (this one shows Saturn, and that's Mark's ship in the background). It's kind of a waiting area as you decide where to travel next for quests. I do most of my equipment tweaking up there in orbit.

sittin

I noticed some people sitting on the space ship dock supports on the Tower, so I did it, and so did Mark there in the background. Even vitual characters have to chill once in a while.

deschar

This is my character after 48 hours of total play time. Level 40 is the max, and my light level keeps going up. Like Diablo, your character changes his/her look as you add and upgrade equipment.

So as much as I'd like to keep playing Destiny, I think with the release of Ratchet & Clank tomorow, I will be switching to that next weekend, but I'll be back. There's an update for Destiny tomorrow too, so I'll be back to check that stuff out when I'm finished with Ratchet & Clank.

That be a weekend. Over and out.
