Things were nice and slow around here during spring break when the colleges empty out, but now they're back and it's mayhem again. Ugh. To live and work in a college town.
Spring Break

Looks quite a bit different as a professor. It basically adds up to having more time to work on things I would do in my office and household chores. That and I can technically drink at work now, but I'm not going to.
I DID pull quite the doozy on Saturday though. Friday plans got cancelled cause my friend lost her wallett (she found it next day), so after I did my routine workout at the gym, I also did my friend's warm-up routine with him after and 3 or so miles on the treadmill.
Then on Saturday, I reversed all that bodily goodwill by drinking all 6 mix and match beers I'd bought at Kroger the night before, along with the cookies I'd bought there as well, a large Pizza Hut pizza and pasta. Then I went out to watch SFA win our conference in basketball and had 3 pints at the bar. Also, a Dirty Reuben. I remember everything that happened and was sober by night's end, but I wound up waking up 4pm Sunday (which was really 3pm, stupid Daylight Savings).
My friend and I did some work at the coffee shop, then Taco Bell cause the wifi wasn't working at the coffee place, then walked around campus for old time's sake and called our friend at Auburn. It was a nice literal walk down memory lane.
I packed up and here I am back in Dallas. Did taxes, read another chapter in my class's textbook to figure out what I need to teach and did some laundry. I'll be downloading Adobe Creative Cloud later to do the assignments I'm asking them to do. ... Wooo Spring Break!
