honestly, it's that typical MMO combat that turns me off so much. Is this more action oriented?
I finally got around to playing Tera and it's great!

For some reason, out of all the F2P MMOs out there that I sampled over the years, I never quite felt like playing Tera. It's mostly due to my preference for combat in MMOs being the slow Tab targetting and cooldown hotkey combo action in games like A Realm Reborn, Rift, SWTOR and WoW. But after playing through Guild Wars 2, I tend to prefer the more purely real time combat like in The Secret World, and Neverwinter and now Tera.
Honestly, the generic Final Fantasy knock-off art, or typical Korean MMO anime style artwork doesn't really appeal to me. I would rather play something dark and gritter with a medivel western theme, but I just think that Tera's combat is really fun.
If you haven't heard, the game is an MMO Free-To-Play on PC and it's about 3 years old and they just added a new gunner class that is really totally awesome. There is a double XP event and the servers are busy and quite populated, but I imagine that once the event is over, everyone will just move on to the next thing, Guild Wars 2 patch perhaps?
I'm also quite enjoying Neverwinter's Oathbound Palading class as well.
And that's my MMO minute.
